Informational pragmatic strategies in advertising

The aim of the course “Informational pragmatic strategies in advertising” is to distinguish linguistic and non-linguistic means which help fulfil communicative strategies in advertising. The course “Informational pragmatic strategies in advertising” is integrated in Block 1 “Disciplines. Variations” of the educational programme. The course “Informational pragmatic strategies in advertising” is taught in the fourth semester and based on the knowledge of the disciplines which have been taught before: Current issues of Philology, Informational concepts of fundamental and applied philological discourse, Business foreign language, History and methodology of Science, International Economics, International Management, Professional Terminology, Genres of official speech. The course has been developed with the grant of Vladimir Potanin Foundation.
